I haven't seen the Matrix Reloaded, but I heard from some friends of mine that it was awful.
Right now, I'm really upset with reviewers that keep asking me to put a certain couple in my fics or to make something happen. I already have an idea of what I plan to happen in my fanfiction, and I don't intend on changing it because some random reviewer says something like, 'good but put some s/s in it.'

I'm fine with written mush as long as it's not too intense. The stuff in my story (Shamless plug) is okay, because generally isn't not full on, but the fluff I can't stand. and I can't stand romance on screen, full stop.

I don't really like romance very much period. I can stand some though, if it's written very well. Another thing that's been bothering me a lot about FF.Net is the writers. I sick and tired of seeing fics like 'The Random OOC Adventures of *Insert name of Anime/RPG character* and Me!!!' or '*Anime/RPG title* with me in it!!!' I would highly doubt that anyone would be interested in anything like that, but they often have somewhere between fifty to seventy-five reviews. Mary-Sues are really starting to get on my nerves too, especially when they're popular. A lot of the really good, well written fan fics have very few or no reviews at all. It makes me mad sometimes.

I know! Take me for example! Note: I'm talking about CCS fics now. My story has over two hundred reviews, and it's utter crap. My favourite author gets an average of thirty reviews, total! It's unfair! (If anyone wants to improve that number, her name's StarDragon: www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=131072)I hate most HP/CCS crossovers, because they are all the same... Except mine, of course! ^_^ And most of the plot lines are so overused there are holes miles long. It's sad, really. Urgh. I feel sick. Ta.

don't compare yourself to others. the way you write doesn't account for the reviews. its all popularity.. when an author is established to be really good throughout the members, then its obvious that their other fics would most likely do well... so don't get down on yourself okay? i'm sure you're a fantastic writer!

I find that FF.N has a fair bit of technical difficulties. It really gets on my nerves sometimes.

i think your fic is okay, silva. hehe ;D look at it this way --- compare it to the crappy CCS/HP crossovers. hehe I know what you guys mean. er, by the way... what's a Mary-Sue? Yes, popularity isn't a reliable measure of how good an author really is. (Though my fave author has TONS of reviews for her one-shots! That would be bcoz she is undeniably really good! Look for DARTH MER-MER! ^_^) by the way, did ffnet ever make this mistake of putting names of authors in your favorites list without you knowing about it? I mean, is it possible? and yeah, deviating a little --- if you guys want to see a picture with both Sakura (CCS) and Sadako (Ring zero) in it, visit my site! hee hee! www.geocities.com/hellmaster_fiblizo/index.htmlIt's in my video collection. hehe... and yeah, please sign my guestbook! hehe... a little promotion doesn't hurt. ^^

Mary-Sue is the Original Character that's perfect, the self-insert equvilant, all the charaters love her, she grabs all the screen time etc. You know, annoying.

Mary-Sues are so annoying! They take over the story all the time and they're like unwelcome (to the readers, yes) intruders to the story.... and I hate those people who write reviews telling the authors what a nice Mary-Sue they've written and stuff.... >_<

Yeah. I'm amazed people write Mary-Sues. People read fics for the existing characters, not for overly-perfect characters who steal the bishies and take the attention away from the other characters.

i'm sorta having a mary sue in my weiss fic... but then again you wouldn't really call her a mary sue since i'm going to give her some intense storyline... though most of the guys do fall for her...
