Again to Fibby-san: You said, well more implied, that I had talent because I made Hp and Ccs blend so well.
Thing is, it doesn't really matter that one's a book and one's a television series/anime (Blatently ignoring the movies of HP) It doesn't really matter, because Hp and ccs have the advantage of blending really well. There are those that blend horribly, like the Matrix and CCS. There's one fic out there that tried, and it seemed very difficult to explain just how they fit in together.
It's when you can get the two things into the same dimension that it's effective. It'd be all to easy to do a Tamora Pierce/CCS crossover; you just make a split in the space/time conntinum. Or something similar anyway.
But I guess you need a little skill to pull it off. It really requires a broad knowledge of both areas, and the ability to completly ignore others.
One thing that annoys me about most HP/CCS crossovers is that all of a sudden a letter of invitation arrives and, this is the bit that annoys me, Kero explains everything, but never saw the need before. It's the same almost everywhere, and it ticks me off.
So, I changed it. I had a reason that Kero didn't tell Sakura eariler, though I don't think I've said why yet.
Anyone acctually reading this who hasn't read my fic, the link shoulc be near the picture of Yoda-sama, and down the bottom.
Heheh.
Shameless plugging is fun.
Anyway, I have to go and work on my unlucky chapter that refuses to be written.
Hey Fibby-san, You still haven't reviewed my new craptastic story. At least tell me that it occupied a bit of your glorious time *Worships*
