jus curious but what are your thoughts on yaoi and yuri? for me i don't mind it well if the coupling is reasonable and not shot right out of the blue.

I'm definately not a fan of Yaoi.. if there is anything yaoi in anything I just skip through the part.. Yuri is meh.. if it's there it's there

it disturbes me sometimes ---- most of the time, when a character I like is paired up I don't mind the characters I hate being paired up tho.... I'm trying to avoid that kind of story >< annoys me a lot these days....

its better to have your favorite bishie to like a girl, so you can kill her and snatch him for yourself instead of your bishie liking guys... that means you hav no chance at all

i think yaoi is much popular than yuri.
most of the time, girls tolerate yaoi more while guys (straight guys) prefer yuri (don't even start wondering why. though i already know why... hehe ;D) and dislikes yaoi with a passion. kinda funny, isn't it? ^^

you can label me as an Anti-Yaoi fan! i HATE it when people pair up my favorite bishounens, which always gives me the sickest feelings. i'd rather they pair them up with the most annoying brat, but not another guy...
and as for yuri, i don't react as big as yaoi. probably because i'm not a fan of any particular bishoujos, but still, i don't feel that both yaoi/yuri makes me comfortable at all.
i have read various yaoi manga series, and most of them seems a little too intense for me to handle. Those very light yaoi, such as my favorite manga series 'Hanazakari no Kimitachi E', those i can handle no problem, and i even think it is quite sweet!

I can tolerate yaoi if it's really, really light, just because there's so much out there it's nearly impossible to get away from it in fan fiction, but I can't stand yuri at all (I know that makes me sound really bad ). I could never read a yaoi lemon though *shudders at thought*

actually, doesn't most fanfics state whether it's yaoi or yuri first? but even so, it is pretty hard to avoid it. Fanfiction writers often have the craziest imaginations...

Yes, they do usually state if it's yaoi or yuri first, though in some fics they don't. In many of the sections I like to read I find it hard to avoid because that's pretty much all there is. Fanfiction writers do have weird ideas. Sometimes they'll make the weirdest couples or make the characters so OOC you wonder if you're even reading about the same character. I'm really getting off topic though, so I should just stop it there.

I hate it when the story doesn't say that it's yaoi or yuri in the beginning >_< it annoys me a lot
