I guess I thank my lucky stars that I haven't suffered a block in a long time. I find that 'inspiration' can be overrated, and easily unreliable. Hence I actively work to stimulate the creative juices. If I do so unfortunately happen to be stuck, I spin alternatives - as many as I can think of and try to develop each thread as far as it can go to see if there's potential. This method might take a few night's worth of fantasizing, but eventually, you strike jackpot and even if you're smitten by just one particular idea, that idea could give you a whole new subplot and presto - we're back to writing again.
Good luck peoples!

That's a good idea!! Thanks, Yomi-san. ^^ When I'm stuck, I tend to get lazy and do something else, hoping the idea would come to me (eventually). I think I'll try your method. ^^

Nah - that's unreliable (*gasps* what if it never comes). Pooling ideas is just a way of increasing the probability that the idea does come. And besides, my mind is always wandering: during boring lecture, having dinner, wiping down the tables, during ad breaks, and especially before I fall asleep. Maybe I should be occupying my mind with other thoughts....

Lol I do that too. The ideas come to me at the weirdest times. For example, during dinner, I burst out laughing suddenly, and my family thinks I'm crazy.
