You're going to meet people like that. There's basically two options.
1. To stop hanging around with them, point black. If they annoy you that much, why bother.
But you need to assess the good points and bad points.
2. You should probably talk to her, tell her what she's doing is really upsetting you, or maybe just opt not to tell her embarassing things. But remember, there's going to be something that she doesn't like about you, so if your too blunt about it, it'll bite you back. Believe me. I know.
I'm not really good at this sort of thing, but could you give nme points for trying?

Mmm... Like I think I said, I have friends like that. You either have to accept it, or keep tormenting yourself like this. You'd be a lot happier if you accepted it.
There are always going to be people who act immature, and the more mature you get, the more immature other people are going to get. Try not to act so mature sometimes. Try to see the joke. If you can't, and I know how hard it can be, try to talk to them, and tell them that you don't like it.
Bu honestly, she sounds like a number of my friends. One like hitting people for fun, that sort of thing. Another lives off the little bad points of me, and I dispise her, but that's also because we have nothing in common.
Look, if she's one friend in a group, try to avoid her a little. Not overly so, just try to, you know, only talk to her in a group.
There are always going to be people like that in life. It's annoying, I know, but you have to deal with it. It may be hard, but it'll get better eventually. She'll wise up, or you'll be able to enjoy her jokes more.
It'll turn out all right.
(Sorry if the advise sucks. I'm pretty much the loner of the school, so if someone ticks me off, I tend to run away whenever they come around. Perhaps you shouldn't trust my advise...)

one thing, you can't make anyone happy, but you the most important thing is... are you happy? if she annoys the hell out of her... its your decision whether or not you are friends with her.

This so-called friend is still bugging the hell outta me! ><
ok here goes:
She's always complaining she doesn't have a cell phone,
and I don't have one as well but I'm getting one soon and she gets really annoyed and start picking on me.
Now she has a phone and I still don't have one...she's one very happy girl, the day after she got the phone she came up to me and said
'you're jealous aren't ya. ur jealous cuz I got a phone before u did'....I was like "....." but inside of me i was "#$*&#)(*$&)#(*&)"
*sigh*
And every single day...she's going around boasting she's got a phone, it's a Nokia 3315...but I'm happy to say!! I'm gonna get one soon!! Probably a Panasonic GD75

*chokes* i wonder if this friend of yours is actually a little....embarrassed? that's what i call attitude...pretty impressive the way you handle things around her! i would show her the same attitude if i were you, yumi-chan!! haha, but that'll make me drop as low as her level....

sigh, it's ppls like her we can do with less in this world...you sure you can't really block her calls and just stop talking to her or something? cuz, like how you usually solve problems this, just act normal and don't let her feel satisfied. i'm you don't need 'friends' like her! just abandon her or something!!
