Meteor Garden sounds very symbolic to me...somewhat pretty and romantic in a way. but, i can't seem to understand this symbolism in the story, since there's no meteor in the story...
hmm...between meteor garden and hana yori dango, i like the name meteor garden better...

I don't think neither of the two titles have anything to do with the story.... *sweatdrops*

Well, cake before flowers, right? Think about it, isn't Meteor Garden something about 4 super popular guys brought to their knees by a new, spunky girl in school? Substance (meaingfulness) before trappings (shallowness), like cake before flowers that sort of wilt away. Cake actually has some sort of use, doesn't it?
Meteor Garden I'm still iffy on.

maybe they only named it Meteor Garden because of the op song - y'know, it's called Meteor Rain or something like that

I read from a mag HYD means "flower over food" or in other words "I prefer flower over food" ^^;; Wow........that's a unique one!
And Meteor Garden.......I kinda remember my teacher saying (she's gushing about MG ryt during class!! Woah!) that Dau Ming Si decorated his garden with rocks that look like meteors....and surprise Shan Cai...ugh, correct me if I'm wrong becoz I heard this months ago. ^^
